Why Choose TiviMate?

TiviMate is widely regarded as the best IPTV player for users who watch a lot of live TV. Its grid-style EPG programme guide, smooth channel switching, and clean interface make it feel like a proper Smart TV experience. With TiviMate Premium, you also get catch-up TV and recording capabilities.

This guide covers both ways to add your subscription — Xtream Codes (recommended) and M3U link — plus the best settings to get smooth playback on a Firestick.

Adding Your Playlist with Xtream Codes (Recommended)

Xtream Codes gives TiviMate the richest experience, including automatic EPG data and separate sections for Live TV, Movies, and Series.

  1. Install TiviMate. Search for "TiviMate" in the Amazon App Store and install it for free.
  2. Tap Add Playlist. On first launch you will be prompted. Select Xtream Codes login.
  3. Enter your credentials. Fill in the Server URL, Username, and Password from your Strong8K welcome message. Tap Next.
  4. Wait for the load. TiviMate fetches your channels, EPG, and VOD library. On first install this can take 1–3 minutes.
  5. Add your favourites. Press and hold any channel to add it to your Favourites list for instant access from the home screen.

Adding Your Playlist with an M3U Link

If you have an M3U URL rather than Xtream Codes credentials, use this method instead:

  1. On the Add Playlist screen, select M3U playlist.
  2. Enter your M3U URL exactly as provided. Tap Next.
  3. TiviMate will import all channels. EPG data may need to be added separately via Settings → EPG.
💡 Note: M3U playlists don't automatically include EPG. If your programme guide is empty, go to Settings → EPG and enter the XMLTV EPG URL provided by our team on request.

Frequently Asked Questions

TiviMate has a free version that works well for most users. TiviMate Premium (a one-time or annual purchase) adds multiple playlists, catch-up TV, recordings, and advanced EPG features.

Xtream Codes is the recommended method. It gives TiviMate richer metadata, automatic EPG data, and separates Live TV from Movies and Series. M3U is a simpler single-link option that also works.

Go to Settings → Playlists → select your playlist → Update Now. You can also set an automatic daily update schedule in the same menu.

This usually means the specific stream is temporarily unavailable or your subscription has expired. Try a different channel first. If most channels fail, contact our support team.
